Car Tunes by David Snyder
"This all started while driving down the Pennsylvania Turnpike listening to the radio. "Surf City" came on "I've got a '34 wagon
and we call it a Woodie" I told my wife and business partner Marion there is a painting there somewhere. A little brainstorming and a few miles down the
road we pretty much had it worked out."
"My paintings celebrate nostalgia, and what is more nostalgic than the cars we love and the tunes we belt out while behind the wheel?!?
"Car Tunes" is just that, cars and music. Songs about cars or cars in a song. "Beep Beep" "Maybellene" you're in my way, and you can
have "Fun, Fun, Fun" but watch out for "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena"!" - DAVID SNYDER
